1080p GPUs

another_member

Hello all,

Do you know of a good graphics card for 1080p gaming? Trying to average about 60-80 fps as I already own a 1080p 60hz monitor. Please post links to pcpartpicker if possible. Would like to keep to high settings in games like GTA V. Needs to be available in Germany. Here is the rest of the planned system (please don't complain about it, just go with it):

Budget: whatever will keep 60-80fps at 1080p in GTA V at high settings

Thanks,

Catchears

RX 570 or higher,  GTX 1060 or higher. Previous gen cards... maybe R9 Fury or whatever's high end before GTX series from nVidia.

RX 570 may go below 60fps at high quality settings but if you tweak settings a bit (like less shadows, or smaller distances etc) it would probably be fine.

Can't argue with the money vs performance... you get a good card for ~ 120$ new, less than $100 used.

I'd also be looking at the RX 570/580 for that build/monitor.

Also the stock coolers on all Ryzen CPU's have been decent enough so I would skip the AIO/cooler and put those savings towards GPU.

Ryzen 2600 - Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 - Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB - Corsair Force MP500 NVMe PCIe M.2 240GB - 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB -

AsRock B450 PRO4 - Deepcool Earlkase Case -  Seasonic Foucus+ 650

You can get a Gigabyte GTX 1070 WF3 8gb for $300/330 depending on sale time on New Egg (while in stock; goes in and out regularly).  It's overkill for 1080p gamin, unless you're playin more demandin titles and you want higher frame rates (120/144+ FPS) w/higher detail.
