Okay that's nice. Though it still doesn't explain how the ubuntu version with a 1TB SSD is so much cheaper than the Windows 10 pro version with a 512GB SSD. A license can't be that expensive.

Windows 10 license is that expensive, but has has gotten cheaper when being compared to the older version of Windows.

Win10 Pro Retail is $200, while Win7 Pro Retail is $300.

Is the Ubuntu edition of the XPS 13 9380 any different apart from the OS? I'm asking because it's suspiciously a lot cheaper (~$180) and has a bigger SSD on the site I'll buy it on. I'm not gonna run Ubuntu on it and I already have a Win 10 Pro key so it would be a hell of a deal.

Ubuntu Edition:

512GB NVME SSD

UHD 620
