Are 2 Rx 580s better than a single 2060?

Skifatterking

Hi everyone,
I didn't find a similar question around so i created a new topic:
So i have to upgrade my gpu and since i have a ryzen 5 2600 on a b450m mortar i was thinking to buy a 2060, but i realized that since my motherboard supports crossfire and i have a 650w corsair power supply i could go for 2 rx 580s which will cost me (buying used) half as much as a 2060. (I should specify that i write from italy and prices here are atrocious when it comes to pc components)
So basically i need to know if 2 rx580s (used at 200€ both) will be better than a rtx 2060 for double the price (around 400€).

I repeat the specs of my pc:
- B450M MORTAR

- RYZEN 5 2600

- 16 GB VENGEANCE LPX RAM

- ZOTAC 1050TI OC

- 650W CORSAIR TX SERIES 80+GOLD

Also i should say that i play at 1080p and i'm not planning to go further with resolution at least for a couple of years.

Bad idea..

Tomorrow is the announcement of NAVI. Should wait for that - and the reaction.

No, because Crossfire just does not work most of the times, with most games that come out this year.

There are a couple but not many...

And that's without the Scaling Problems.

I'd also not recommend crossfire for gaming. I've tried 2 and 3 way with 580's that I got just to get a 3DMark Steam achievement, and it wasn't a good experience. It's generally better to get the single fastest card that fits your needs.

Having said that, 200 for a pair of 580's sounds cheap... but I'd only seriously consider it if you were putting one each in different systems, or were doing some compute that doesn't need crossfire.

Depends on the game. If your someone who only plays one game and that game is overwatch which literally at scales 100%. Then yes. But if you play more the 1 game that supports it very well. No, definitely not worth it.

There is no need, it will bleed out in a natural way ;)
