What gpu for csgo and minecraft?

Hey! Been a while since I've asked for advice on here. I wanna be more active but been hella busy lately

 

Anyways i have this pc

- 2200g

- b350m gaming pro

- 1x8gb ddr4 3000mhz

- 400w evga psu

- diy f2 pc case

 

Not the best, but i wanna upgrade it so i can run minecraft with my mods (i don't have many now, mostly world edit) and sues shaders at something more enjoyable than 15fps (3 if i put everything on max) and csgo on high 

 

Yes, i know these games are mainly CPU bound (or at least, last i checked they were) but i will upgrade my cpu later (most likely not until AM5 comes out) but gpu is first since i am fine with everything else as of now

 

So for the GPU i do not wanna spend alot, but i also want good performance. Personally, i was thinking an RX 570 would be good considering ALL i do is play minecraft, csgo, and use sony vegas and UE4. What do you all think? A 570 good? Or would it be more sensible to drop to a 560 for my usage?

I'd focus on getting another stick of memory, that will yield you the biggest performance increase.

Eh i get what you mean but i rarely use the whole 8gb i have (i haven't reached 60% yet)

 

And also i need a gpu to also record videos with encoding (my cpu does it good enough but i would rather use SLOBS rather than Xbox gane bar)

It's not a matter of gigabytes used, but bandwidth for your processor

 

Ryzen chips rely heavily on fast dual channel memory

AM5 probably won’t come out for another 2 years at least. Get another stick of ram, and a 570, then down the line when you have enough for a Ryzen 5 3000 chip get one of those.

Normally id recommend a gtx 1050 or gtx 1050 ti, but the GPU on that 2200g is so close to it that it wouldn't be worth it.

1050 or 1050Ti is pointless when the 570 isn't much more.

Get another stick of memory, it will boost fps significantly. It should be top priority before getting a GPU. 

 

Also, RX570 would probably do the best here.

I get so used to recommending the 1050 or 1050 ti for office system builds. The 570 is a much, much better choice.

honestly i prefer AMD, but i will certainly consider it if it does not send off red flags as a scam. thanks
