Upgrading my GFX Card

Hi, I recently (about 3 months ago) built my first PC. <- Partpicker link

However i am quickly realizing my Graphics card is heavily bottlenecked. PC-Builds bottleneck calculator is suggesting a 1070, but i really dont have that budget.

 

Im happy to sell the 1050ti in order to get a better one, but what do you guys suggest.

I have £150 currently, + however much i can get for the 3 month old un overclocked gpx card (Im assuming its not worth it to sell)

Do you feel like you need the performance of a better graphics card or so you just want to "not have a bottleneck" according to some random ass craptastic number generator of the web?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I do need better performance, well i dont *need* but I would like to be able to run higher settings on games. The number generator just gave me an idea of which was the bottleneck.

OK, what are you aiming for? Maxed out 1080p?

Regardless, new graphics cards from AMD are on their way, so get yourself 8GB more ram for dual channel and wait for their offerings.

Do not rely on those bottleneck calculators, this terminology is way to overestimated..... 

Bottleneck is a RTX 2080Ti with an i3 ........
