9600k overclocking hot or nawt?

hello all. so i bought a 9600k some time ago ? and decided to finally oc it. and i choose to stop at 5.2ghz at 1.32v. it max hits 70c and im just wondering since im new to intel 9th gen, is that a good or bad result?

that's above avg for sure, good chip

top 1% for 9600k? 9600k are lower bins than 9700k and 9900k, which means it's harder to get a chip this good. I think top 1% for 9900k is 5.3GHz at 1.4V, though they also run a bit hotter which makes stability harder to obtain

damn really? i thought i was at the low end of oc'ing on this chip. im pretty sure it will go upto 5.3 without much hazzle really been running the 5.2 the last couple of days and no hiccups so far. guess im a lottery winner my old 6600k managed 5ghz on 1.37

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

well it seems your living in the states so i wouldnt think so haha. but for my z390 xi hero and 9600k i got to hand out 723 freedom dollars
