Need help with updating Zotac GTX 1060 6GB AMP!

Go to solution Solved by Skiiwee29,

well first off, you have the card likely installed in the wrong slot of your motherboard since its running in 8x instead 16x. It should be in the upper most slot. This doesnt affect gaming performance, but can affect thermals from less air flow the lower in the case it gets. As far as BIOS flashing, here is the BIOS you need:

and here is the instructions on how to do it:

Hi, just got my Zotac GTX 1060 ZT-P10600B-10M today. Did some gaming and I'm not too happy with the performance and temps. I need help with updating the BIOS as I am a first-timer in flashing graphics cards. Direct link to required files is greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Thanks! That worked. Though I had to download nvflash from https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-nvflash/. Those who are trying to update bios in windows 64 bit, dont hesitate to use the following command in step 9:  nvflash64 -6 ROM_NAME.rom.
