can this psu be fixed

is it possible to replace/modify this cable somehow? actually, both of these 4 pin cpu power connectors are burnt/melted. so i am gonna need those both. dont ask how did this happen its a long story but simply seems like m5a97 le r2.0 is not a good choice for 8 thread fx 8320 cpu. cuz the mobo only has 4 pin cpu power entry and stuff.

Which model PSU was it (out of curiosity)?
Time to throw the PSU away. Motherboard too. Get yourself new motherboard, CPU, RAM, and PSU. AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs release soon.

Ah, yeah. That's a pretty bad power supply.
The problem is if the power supply is so badly damaged like that, then there's no doubt that the motherboard will also be screwed. Replacing just the PSU won't fix the problem.
Look after yourself and your other responsibilities first. Maybe sell the parts that are still working (maybe CPU, maybe GPU) and just save up to replace the system when you can. If you need a PC for study/work/etc then see if you have any friends or family who can lend/give you an old PC.

That's a terrible PSU. The motherboard is also royally screwed, most likely, replacing just the PSU probably won't fix the problem.

When you do get a new PSU, please, don't buy a cheap PSU again. Get something quality, like Corsair CX450, on the cheap.

i will change the mobo too, cuz thats also screwed . i was planning to get a  corsair vs550 but since you said 450, do you really think that a 450 would be enough for me ?

Yes, obviously and also no VRM Heatsinks, so you don't OC on that Board...

Really not worth thinking about.

The Problem is that you need to replace that Connector on the Board as well, not just the PSU...

i was using cpu at 3.8 ghz oc, i did my research before oc but it looks like i missed a point. i used it for 3years like that and i realised the cable and socket got browny and melted, the melting got wors by the time. so it didnt happen so quick, it took years . i am changing my mobo to m5a97 r2.0,  repair shop here says he can fix psu for like 10 dollars, and trust me i dont have money to spend for extra if 10dollar repair would do my job . i can replace the psu later but not now. would you recommend repairing the connector?  (dont say there are  psus for 30-40 dollars cuz those cost way more in my country. pc parts are so expensive here. a waiter earns 15 dollars per day for ~8-10 maybe more hours. ) (and sorry for my bad english)

The point that many people are trying to get across is if you spend less money now on a cheap solution, you'll very likely end up spending more time and money later because of the cheap parts.  It may cost more up front but long term you'll spend less fixing things properly with quality parts.  In the short term yes, it will suck.  In the long term you'll be much happier.
