A guy about 2 hours from my house is selling this:

i5-3470

8gb RAM

R9 270 2GB

WD Blue 1TB HDD

600W PSU (I doubt it's 80+ certified)
Generic case
Unknown motherboard

There are 750 and 850W garbage PSUs from EVGA lol, if you go for unknown brands there are probably 1000W PSUs that actually deliver 500W

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

Well i suppose the older ones are probably garbage but every evga psu ive owned has held its own. But still. 130 is a decent price. I know dick bags who would try to sell that system for 3 times as much. I think 130 is a good deal. Especially if he needs a cheap gaming solution. Decent psus are like what $50 now? Could replace it if needed.

do you actually need such an old computer? do you have a use for it?

don't buy stuff just because it's cheap, only consider it if you will actually use it

Seems reasonable. RAM still has value, and GPU could be used in upgrade to older gaming PC. Just those two could justify it, or trying to get it for $100. Too bad CPU isn't K, that would make it much better option with OC on Ivy being quite good.

130 for PC

150 for a rx580

75-100 for 3770k

So for 355-380 you could have a very decent gaming pc.

Now if the motherboard doesn't support overclocking then you would save another 10-20 bucks on a 3770 used.

Also you could get a 2600k for 35-50 used and they can pretty much all overclock to 4.4ghz and above. You will just lose pci-e 3.0 support, but that shouldn't hurt fps much if at all on a 580

Yes, but I wouldn't drive two hours to pay $130 for it.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
