need your opinion about my h60....

i was thinking of changing my h60 to a custom watercooling,..

I'm thinking of adding a reservoir and changing the hoses

will the pump still work after doing so? will the pump still have enough power to push the coolant around?

i've some guys doing this on youtube, but seen very few able to show them on their rig

If you're going to spend the money to add all of that, why not save up a bit and add a new pump and cpu block? If you really want to mod and Frankenstein the H60 just for laughs, then I guess so but if you're looking to upgrade your H60 with those mods for performance...I wouldn't recommend it.

As xeks says - those AiO units come with very weak pumps. Addiing in larger tubing and a res and such can really strain them. Save up for a custom kit, or maybe a H220 and expand that later...

H220 would be a way better way to spend your money,

it s about the price of a cpu block and radiator and you get a free reservoir, tubing and pump. Altho it is a bit noisy (the pump at full speed not the fans)

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.

Yeah, sell the H60 and get the H220. Even if the pump works, it's still a pretty weak pump so it could even hurt the performance of your H60. But you'll need to wait for the H220, since it's out of stock everywhere.

I applaud the cheapness on the H60 conversion, but terrible waste of money and time.

was a fad on the H50 and GPU, till the mods started to fail and the pump was usually

the culprit. its just enough for the setup from corsair and not much else.

either upgrade to H100/i or save for a proper custom loop. the single fan AIO should

only be considered a temporary idea and not a full-time solution (too small and usually

too loud).

what 'cha water-cooling? rig specs!

h220 would be the way to go if on a budget but you could buy a raystorm kit wiht a 2x140 rad for 150
