Will a 420mm Thick Radiator Cool This?

Will a thick 420mm radiator cool an i7-8700k at stock speeds and dual gtx 1070.

 

When I say thick radiator I mean a radiator thicker than Thanos.

dude that is mega overkill, a single 120 / 140 rad will work fine with the 8700.

Don't forget the dual 1070s. A good 360mm rad would likely be fine though, a thicc 420 will handle that for sure.

Depends on fan speeds. I’d say it’s just enough to maintain average fan speeds. 

 

I run a 45mm 420 for a 8700k and 1080. Leave the fans at idle, around 500/600 for mine. Ultra quite. Never had a rig near this one. And that’s having the cpu at 90% and a slight oc of 4.5 and the 1080 at 100% usage and clocked at 2012 stock.

If everything is stock, then it'll be overkill.

 

Overkill is good, better than underkill.
