Making a build based from the "Apple Won't Like This" video

Hi all,
I'm hoping I can get some feedback from the LTT guys on this one. So I'm in the film industry as a D.I.T (digital imaging technician) and we use hackintoshes all the time. My buddy and I were discussing the video you guys did on making your own hackintosh's and we wanted to know if there's any bottlenecking at all since it has to run through a VM.

We also wanted to know if thunderbolt 3 works or not.

I'm not from LTT, but I believe that it has full functionality and that there's little to no bottlenecking due to the virtualization technology enabled. I'm not certain on the Thunderbolt 3, but I am confident that running the virtual machine shouldn't have a major impact on performance.

If you're a business, can we give a big F when Apple realizes you're not using real Macs

Lol use a real mac if you are a business. You are going to get sued. After talking to the devs on discord Linus's video is pretty horrible as it's not anywhere as easy and beneficial as he makes it seems. The only reason it should be used is if you are dual booting the host machine. Otherwise use a baremetal hackintosh

Just to clarify, I'm a sole proprietor and at least 95% of the people in my specific field are running hackintoshes. Apple doesn't care about us, we're too small of a group for them to waste their time on lol

Let me put it this way, a DIT's system needs to run as strong as a post production work station. We also don't work for companies unless you count the local Camera Union a company lol. All we care about is getting the most power out of our system but it has to run on MacOS since the majority of the software we use is Mac exclusive (unfortunately).

This isn't really a discussion of what we should be using. We know what we can get us the most power. We literally have to upgrade our hardware every year. It would be an awful investment for us to run our systems off iMac's.
