I'm going to say no, not with that monitor. I don't think you'd really see that much more performance out of it.

Save up, get a high refresh rate monitor and/or higher resolution and then think about upgrading.

Is this for gaming? GTX 1070 should be fine with your current system and 2560x1080 monitor. Are you running in to performance issues?

Seriously? You're telling them to either spend 250 or so on a card that is actually worse than a 1070 in some cases, or spend a ridiculous amount of money on a card that they don't need.

Honestly...I'd just keep what you've got. The 1070 is still good for ultra/high settings. I'm running 2560 x 1080 75hz too and wanted a gpu that would last me a while, so I went for Radeon VII for my upcoming build. A bit overkill though, but that's what you should be looking at if you're upgrading from a 1070. Although I see no reason to do that as it can still get the job done at 60fps in most games. Whatever you do, make sure if you are buying a new gpu that it is 2 steps above the 1070. No point in getting a 2070 or Vega 64 as the improvement isn't worth the price you're paying. Either get Radeon VII, 2080 or a used 1080ti. Or just stay with the 1070 which is what I'd do.

Why did someone even vote for the GTX 1660 Ti? it's the same thing, talk about bad side grade.

With minimal settings adjusting you can run pretty much any game at 2560x1080p75hz you want with a GTX 1070, but if you want to MAX out every single graphical quality then just go RTX 2080.

I mean if you can afford it, the 2080 is the best card here.  If you want to save like $200, then get the 2070 because its a great card.

Try using the PSU Tier List!

You always want to get the best of the last generation card if you are going to get outdated stuff. See my signature. I ride a GTX 970 into the sunset still. And not by choice. Still waiting for the price correction in the GPU market.

I have one and i prefer it over the 1070 and a 75 hz monitor can go above 75hz

Navi soon, we'll see if there's a worthwhile card to upgrade to.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
