So who has seen this new wearable camera. Looks interesting and its not a Kickstarter!?

Has anyone order one? what was it like? how long did it take to ship?

 

Apparently it: 

"Shoots in full HD, 1080 x 1080, 30 FPS."

IP67 waterproof rating

EGG is not waterproof

Camera Battery Life

  • Each Camera can record for 12 minutes when fully charged
  • Each Camera will hold power for 60 hours if not powered on
  • It takes 30 minutes to charge each Camera in a fully charged Egg

Camera Storage

  • Each camera will hold 4 gigs of footage
  • Memory will be cleared when transferred to Egg

what's the point of wearing a watch when you have your phone? silly way to think about it,  I think they are kind of neat.

Because you can just look at your watch instead of taking your phone out of your pocket. 

 

This is is just a camera. This will completely flop.

this would actually be really cool for shooting quick first person videos.. autocross comes to mind. Looks easier to setup than a go pro, just take it out of the case and clip to glasses (I have glasses) and good to go, put it back in the case to charge and empty it's memory.

 

wonder how expensive it is though.

 

edit: $295... eh with the lackluster specs I'm good. was thinking it would be cheap.
