Anyway to receive sms from my phone onto my IPad? NOT IMESSAGE actual sms from sim or any sms

So I did read whoever it says iPhone must be onlein

 

I wanna receive sms on my iPad WHILE my iPhone is turned OFF

Not unless you use another app for messaging, standard sms does not have that ability

aint there an app  that if I get sms on phone it goes onto app and then goes to iPad? But then I need my phone turned offf （╯°□°）╯︵ ( ͜。 ͡ʖ ͜。)

The device with the SIM card MUST be online, thats just how it works for SMS.

You need your phone on to receive SMS via handoff.

If you wanted to get a second number you could maybe try using Google Voice. That way someone would be able to send a text to your Google Voice number whilst your phone is turned off. You could also reply from your Google Voice number. If you want to use your current number the device with the SIM card is has to be turned on.

Your phone would need to be on for it to work, its basically how servers work, you can't access them if they're online.
