Need suggestion on picking parts

LHRaBBiT

Short story - a friend asked to build pc from a store that costs 500-600e, that's what I got:
case - Aerocool - VS-1 ATX Mid Tower Case (26.19e)
CPU - AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor (98.99e)

CPU cooler - be quiet! - Pure Rock Slim 35.14 CFM CPU Cooler (41.49e)

GPU - Zotac - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3 GB Mini Video Card (181.29e)

motherboard - ASRock - B450M-HDV R4.0 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (60.49e)

ram - Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 Memory (85.49e)

SSD - Crucial - MX500 250 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (46e)

HDD - Seagate - Barracuda Pro 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (62.39e)

Thermal paste - Thermal Grizzly Thermal grease "Kryonaut" 1g. (7.89e)

Total is - 610.22e
I'm not the best builder out there soo is there any better choices that could be made?

p.s. all parts are compatible, right?

You can drop the thermal paste, coolers have pre-applied thermal pastes.

Then you can drop the cooler, the stock cooler is more than fine enough.

That just saved you 50€, use that to buy a ASRock b450m Pro 4 motherboard, and get ddr4 2933 or 3000mhz ram.

Also because you are getting a video card, might as well swap the r3 2200g for a r5 1600.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Swap the Ryzen 3 2200G for a Ryzen 5 2600. Drop the CPU cooler and use the stock cooler.

I would agree with Alex and get a Ryzen 5 like the 1600. The first gen Ryzen work very well in the B450s. And as cactus pointed out they come with a good stock cooler.

PSU - Be quiet! System Power 9 - 400w (40.69e)
RAM - Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (1 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory (85.99e)
Makes total - 673.63e (viable I guess)
GPU - RX 570 4GB (139.29e) (RX 580 goes for 188.99e making total 681.33e)
Makes total - 631.63e
So I'll ask him if he can afford 680 ish, if not 630 should be the jackpot he's looking for.

single stick means single channel, which is so bad not even frequency can compensate for

I would think you are pushing it with only 400w even if it’s consistent wattage. It’s always better to have the extra watts and not use them then to be pushing at or near 100% usage.  I would look for a 550-600w to be safe. But which ever PSU you get make sure it’s constant power rating and not peak power rate. And it’s the one piece I would not cheap out on.

Then I guess:
PSU - Cooler Master V series 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular Power Supply (81.69e)
This should be a good PSU?

Also know that the RX GPUs tend to be blast furnaces so air movement is Critical to help keep it cool and not Throttle. So be ready to add a fan or two if need be. But they are cheap for the most part

To be honest, I'd save the GPU for later and get a 2400G instead.

And invest the saved money on the rest of the System.

A 3GiB VRAM 1060 is just utter nonsense as its going to crap out immediately due to low VRAM ammount.

What about RX570?? If possible 8GiB VRAM.

Could you pls stup the FUD?!
That's utter bullshit and propaganda.

The Air Movement of the Case is always important, regardless of whats inside.

It depends on what type of gaming he wants to do. A 2400g has an incredible igpu but really can't compare to even a mid grade dedicated graphics cards. If all he's playing are esports titles on 720p and a few AAA titles on low-medium settings, it should be plenty. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I've read the igpu of the 2400g overclocked comes within 10% of the performance of a GT 1030 which still is quite impressive for onboard graphics.

at 720p, the 2400G is almost double the GTX 1030 in a lot of instances. I can't speak to other testing.

I've been unable to find video support, but according to user testimony it still can't trade with a 1050Ti quite, even when OCed.

Around 1080p low, they become pretty comparable.
