Gpu only using half of dedicated memory

ghostythehost

Hello.

I started playing a great game called satisfactory but after some time i noticed my gpu was running at 99% all the time so after some digging around i noticed it only used about half the dedicated gpu memory.
I googled around and i have not found a single person explaning the same problem, can anyone here help me?

But i just don't understand why it's running at 99% if it's not using all of it's memory.

Because memory and gpu usage have nothing to do with each other.

Should do some research.

hi, i have the exact same problem with a 3080.

found this: https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/how-to-remove-vram-limit-in-nicehash-miner

but it did not help

any fix yet?

gpu does not use all of its VRM if the software or the game does not need it. your miner only utilizes 5gb of vram. you cannot make it use all of the 10
