Can it harm my system to install my old GPU?

Salicyl

I recently found my old GTX 670 laying around and theoretically it should still work. But since I dont know a lot about PC's I am not too sure if it is okay to install it in my current system without damaging anything. I mean I wouldnt see as to why it would cause damage but just in case I decided to ask before wrecking my new PC for shits and giggles

Well unless it's faulty and causes shorts I don't think it will necessarily harm your PC. However I doubt it will benefit it in any meaningful way

I mean I know a GTX 670 will not do anything compared to the RTX 2080 I have installed, but Im simply curious how it will perform in a system like this...

Don’t see how a pc component can harm a pc. Not sure what you’re expecting to see as the card can’t do anything.
