CPU usage at 100%

I have a ryzen 3 2200g paired with an rx 580 4gb, but while gaming it always hits 100% even in lower end titles. This makes it impossible to use discord unless I lock the fps to the 70s, and I've reinstalled windows, looked at possible things running and I dont know what to do.

if you're running a game that uses 100% cpu power then your cpu isn't fast enough for the game or the settings its running at

Their are two soultions for your problem

1. Get new CPU.

2. Lock frames at 60 or 75

 

The ryzen 3 is not a great match for the 580, you should use a ryzen 5, that should keep up.

4/4 is a bit thin these days. I'd get used to it and try lowering some more CPU intensive settings, like LOD and draw distance

You probably don't need past 60fps, depending on your monitor

100% Load means that the Programm uses all the resources that you have...

And if someone told you that 4C/4T are enough, they were wrong. THere are already games that benefit from more Cores and Threads.
