I have a 950 currently

you are likely to suffer bad fps on 1080p low- mid setting at your 950.

gtx1660 will be great improvement , roughly 3x or more better than 950

Sky is the limit, just get something nice. Performance target and budget perhaps?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Good post my friend.  People need to understand the Ti card is for 4k gaming.  A 1060 or 1660Ti or 2060 is for 1080p gaming and 1070 or 2070 for 1440p gaming and 2080 for 1440p gaming with all AA methods dialed up and turned on.

What about for 2560x1080 monitors

That is a rare resolution.  Its 1080p with a bit more horizontal real estate.  So that awkward resolution is really just 1080p.  A 2060 or 1060 or 1660Ti Can drive that no problem.

What model monitor is it? I don't know of any ultrawide 2560x1080 166Hz monitors...

Maybe something like a 2nd hand 1070Ti/1080, or a GTX1660Ti / RTX2060. Vega56 if you can find a good price for one with a decent cooler.

Ah, that makes more sense. I was thinking 166Hz was an odd number for a display refresh rate. Though now I actually think about it I realise I was an idiot since my monitor is 144hz ('guaranteed' 165Hz overclockable) as well :D

Looks good. I notice that it supports G-Sync, so in that case I would recommend looking at the Nvidia cards to take advantage of the Gsync. GTX 1660Ti or RTX 2060. Maybe the 1070Ti/1080 if you find good prices for used cards.
