I would personally prefer a deal on X399 boards since Threadripper CPU value is pretty good already. Still, a deal's a deal.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Unless you need the pci-e lanes and other benefits of threadripper and x399, I'd wait for Ryzen 2 CPUs. Should be around the same, maybe a little more for 12 core I reckon, but much cheaper mobos.

Yeah, I figured that they're just discounting them before Zen 2 comes out. Still, could be a good deal for the right person.

Yes, for sure... but as I said, it's dependent on IF they need things like pci-e lanes and other features that x399 has really. at around £300+ for the mobo, that's a big ask. I mean if you were the type that usually buys a £200+ mobo anyway, like top end... then it's a nice deal as most of the mobos have good features and IO, so it's a nice deal.
