What is the best motherboard for this budget?

Hello, I am looking to upgrade my PC's motherboard as I currently have a A320M-HDV which cant overclock, and I am wondering what is the best possible motherboard I could get in the $60-70 price range (new only) that allows for overclocking?

At that price point, I don't think you can find a good motherboard for Overclocking but it might be possible to get a good result out of those said motherboard.

The best one i can find is this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/WcjJ7P/gigabyte-b450-aorus-m-micro-atx-am4-motherboard-b450-aorus-m

What cpu you got there?

I have a Ryzen 5 2600X, which apparently is overclocking even on my A320M-HDV board as ive seen it go above the base clock a few times even though you technically cant overclock on the A320 boards. (It goes 3.8-3.9 when running cinebench)

Well that is called turbo core..when the system have enough power and cooling the CPU will exceed it base clock when needed. Same as intel turbo boost.

The system does that automatically unlike overclocking which you have to do it manually..although i heard that there's an automatic OC tech out there but i forgot what it is.

2600X is a great CPU for OC, You should pair it with at least B450..a good B450.

I rarely OC my CPU so i am not really into OC, So if you're looking for a good B450 Board i'd suggest to google it..i just did and it shows a lot of result.

Honestly any AM4 motherboard that supports overclocking should do the trick no matter how cheap; although VRM cooling is recommended.
Personally I got a Ryzen 5 2600 (non-x) running at 4.2Ghz on my Asus Prime B350m-e. Silicon lottery statistics BTW

if it actually boosts to 3.9 then i wouldn't bother getting a new board.
