Not really i guess. 

im running a board with 10 sic639's (50a drmos.) for a 3100, which is really overkill but i don't really care.

it will, but the ds3h well isn't really the best board, the gaming plus will work nicely.

Yes, that's why I choose b450 gaming plus max instead of b450 ds3h
