Time For a New Keyboard. HELP!

Oseth

Hello fellow tech enthusiasts/gamers/builders/etc!!!

I have a keyboard but unfortunately some of the keys on it are starting to double type, few leds have gone out, and overall the keyboard seems to be on its way out. This current keyboard is the Logitech G910 Orion Spark. It has served me well but I think it is time for something better, faster, stronger, blah blah blah.

There is a few thing I am looking for:

1. RGB per key lighting

2. Mechanical key (clicky clicky)

3. A few programmable macro keys (about 6)

4. Wrist rest

5. A price point up to $200 but preferably under $150

I primarily play FPS games, League and an MMO every once in a while. Need the macro keys for mic muting, streaming macros, etc. Thank you for all feedback, as always all is appreciated.

I'm kind of a Razer fanboy and I've had good experiences with their keyboards. Check out the Razer Blackwidow Chroma maybe?

So is the rest probably

Guessing this would be the one you are suggesting?: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MYZYPYH/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_Zp8FCb2FGNMYN

Looks pretty simple and straight to the point. Wonder if this is indeed the best choice.

Seems there is a newer version of that keyboard and it doesn't have the macro key. Why do they keep removing macro keys? ARGH!

Yeah, exactly.

As for macro keys, you could just go full Taran xD

I've got one of those but I've never been able to type as well on it as a free Dell keyboard at work, not sure why.  I think I don't lift my fingers enough when typing and scuff nearby keys.

I like this one quite a bit:

Disconnect the keyboard from the PC, take the keycaps off, press the switches that are double-clicking (chattering), drop a few drops of clean alcohol (not a beverage!) into the pressed switch and work the keys out. Leave for a few hours. Retry if the chattering is still there and if it is repeat the process. Chattering is a common thing on most mechanical switches. Alcohol usually fixes it.

...you wanted wrist rest....that one (hyperx) does not have. if you need wristrest you propably dont want to pull up your finger a lot! if you choose the hyperx ...you will have to pull fingers up a lot! pulling up your fingers a lot...will provide 1st extra stress on muscle...and 2nd lower the reaction in game.

keyboards and mice are always "personal affair" like girlfriends though....huperx seems good too though not for my style.
