Battlefield V black screen, only sound

Stormseeker9

Hi all,

So as the title suggests, since about a week I have been unable to play BFV. When i launch it via origin, it loads up, I can hear the music through my headphones but my screen stays black and then goes into standby mode. Pushing windows key, screen instantaneous lights up again.

I also noticed that everytime I opened up BFV it would switch to 4K HDR resolution even tho my monitor ( Gigabyte aurus ad27qd) is 1440p. All other games work flawless (CSGO, and Cities Skyline).

Has anyone encountered this problem or knows the solution to this?

Any help I appreciate in advance.

Change the video settings in the config files and mark it as read only. These files will probably be located in Documents/Battlefield 5
