Trackmania 2 Valley Induces Crashes to Monitor

So...

I've built myself a new gaming PC (build log coming soon!).

The monitor that I have is the Philips 274EW5HAB.

I bought a couple of games and they all worked fine, absolutely flawless.

 

I recently bought Trackmania 2 Valley, great game by the way.

Unfortunately however, the game crashes my monitor every 10 or so minutes.

The time between crashes is really strange, there is no clear timer that it causing this to happen. I will also note that this happens only to Trackmania, not any of my other games.

 

When the monitor "crashes", for lack of a better word, it gives the following error.

"Error, this monitor cannot display this input. Please change your settings to display 1920x1080, and 60hz"

 

Has anybody else had this problem?

I am not having this problem with any other games.

 

If anybody could help me out it would be much appreciated.

If this is this wrong place to put this, please let me know, I'm new here.

Have you tried setting the resolution and refresh rate through in game settings?
