I recently switched to a new system as an upgrade for work (and for gaming). Before the switch, my GPU hadn't had any issues the entire time I have owned it (nearly 2 years now). But since putting it in my new system, it randomly crashes when been used heavily, weather its gaming or rendering for work. My old system was Intel based and my new one is AMD, I've already spent some time trying to solve this myself and found someone who recommended a jayztwocents video where he used a DDU to clear all the old intel drivers from my system. At first, that seemed to do the trick, I was crash fre

Hi, I just upgraded my computer, it worked fine for just over 2 weeks, but now I'm getting random crashes, the computer will just shut off, only sometimes giving me a BSOD, often after this the BIOS won't detect any boot drives and I will need to restart it a couple of times to it working again. The PC will also crash sometimes when starting up a game, I did have XMP enabled to run my RAM at 3600Mhz (no other settings changed) but have since tuned it back off, this has lead to less frequent crashes. Also when turning the motherboards EZ System Tuning to anything higher then normal, i

I started having problems with my PC just crashing (NO BSOD) just restarting. The MSI EZ Debug lights showed that there was a cpu issue. Resocketed the CPU and applied fresh thermal paste. I have never had any prior thermal issues, regardless I reapplied thermal paste (Corsair Thermal Paste). Same problem occured. When I'm watching yt videos or chilling on discord or playing "chill games" such as Golf With Your Friends, Minecraft there are no restarts. But when I play csgo or cod: cold war, my pc restarts with a black screen, sometimes I can play for hours with no restarts, and some days I can

I built my first gaming PC recently with the following configuration- Motherboard - MSI B550 Gaming Carbon Wi-Fi CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X RAM - Corsair LPX 3200 MHz 2x16 Storage - Crucial 1 TB P1 SSD GPU - Gigabyte GeForce® RTX 2070 SUPER™ WINDFORCE OC 3X 8G PSU - Corsair RM750 The computer posted on the first try and everything ran smoothly until I finally downloaded a few games through steam and started playing. The first error popped up with Battlefield 1 "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED". I searched online to find it's a common error and tried few regis

Dear LTT Community, This has been happening on/off for most of my time owning this PC (self-built), however, it has been rising in frequency recently (eventually coming to the point where it crashes on every render). Details of renders: I was trying to render a simple 6 minute video, with basic effects (Blur, and stock animated text). At first, I edited it with Davinci Resolve, and my pc crashed while rendering, (even while rendering with cached images). However, this has also been happening with Sony Vegas 18, a popular video editing software. (1080p 24-30 fps video) Crash Inf

Specs down below The problem is that when i load up a game like the crew 2 on ultra 1440p 60fps for example the the pc simply crashes, i do still hear sound for 4 seconds or so. I have this same problem in other games aswel for example minecraft java with shaders or when im streaming. I also get 4 beeps in quick succession as a post code the gigabyte site says its the battery on the mother board and/or gpu aren't seated correctly. I unplugged both and put them back in. Yet the problem is still there. I have also tried a DDU, it also had no effect. Im thinking of rein

Hi everyone! I am having an issue with my RAM. I'm currently using 4x8GB, all sticks meant for 3600MHz. So when changed my bios to make them run at 3600MHz my games started to crash at startup which is quiet frustrating. I now lowered it to 3200MHz and I didn't have any crashes yet. I did pay more for the 3600MHz tho so I'd like to use it too. Anyone who knows how to fix this? I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X cpu and an MSI mpg x570 gaming edge wifi mobo which supports up to 4400MHz. Thank you in advance for trying to help!

For the past few days I have been having back to back crashes in Day Z and Second Life. I am not sure what has been causing the issue but I am seeing several Application Hangs and LiveKernelEvents popping up on the event manager when these crashes happen. I was going to see if anyone could help me make sense of the information with the event viewer and actually solve the issue at hand. My PC lately has been forming a habit of randomly freezing and then restarting itself. When this occurs I typically hear a buzzing noise in my headset for the 5-10 seconds it is frozen until it restarts. The confusing part is that it always just restarts straight to windows and never blue screens. It seems like it happens more often when gaming but I feel like I recall it happening while just being in discord as well. At first I thought PSU because I was running an overclocked 9600k and a 5700xt on a Corsair CX500 but I just bought a Corsair RMx850 and it is still doing it. If it helps, s

Hello, I have searched far and wide, even taken my PC to a specialist repair shop, to no avail. The main issue is as follows - Computer monitor turns either green/orange/yellow then says no input signal - Computer remains on at the tower, but I can not do anything so I am forced to manually reboot - Always happens whilst playing games such as Counter Strike SPECS: - Seasonic S12-550 power supply - AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb - Corsair Tower - Seagate Barracuda 2TB sata 3 3.5 HDD - ASROCK B450 motherboa

Hello so i've been using this GPU for about half a year and after an driver update ive been experiencing some crashes, but this only happens the first few times i open a game and after a few crashes it doesnt happen until i restart or shutdown my pc. I have updated all the drivers for bios, chipset etc. Ive tried using DDU then reinstalling them but it still crashes. One thing i would like to add is that im using my integrated GPU for a second monitor maybe thats causing the problem but ive been using it for a month so why would it make problems now? Im using the GPU stock, was overclocke

When I first received the laptop, I decided to clone the OS from the HDD to the SSD using the Samsung software. I also bought a Crucial ramstick for dual channels, but it runs at 2400 instead of the advertised 2666mhz that my Samsung stick runs at. Not sure if that could be a potential problem. It has crashed numerous of times throughout the year, so I was wondering if you guys can offer me any help. It would be greatly appreciated. I'll also include an image file with some information that Whocrashed has provided me with. OS - Windows 10 x64 Windows 10 OEM V

- AMD 2700x - 16GB ddr 4 ram - 980 ti - Rog strix b450 f gaming - corsair cx 750 I noticed my computer keep crashing while playing games. Initially I thought it was the new NVidia drivers so I switched them to an old version but that didnt help. I did a cpu stress test and it was fine but the gpu one failed when the gpu reached around 100% load. I used compressed air to clean the inside of my pc but that didnt change anything. The gpu is a couple years old but was working fine until a week ago. Kinda freaking out any help would really be appreciated. For the crash bot

Alright so there's a bit to this issue (or at least I think there is) and I'm getting a little desperate for a solution. I've taken to reddit, microsoft pages and all sorts and nothing has helped. My games keep freezing on startup. I've tested out Modern Warfare, Genshin Impact and Destiny 2 and each of them will last a second or less before becoming unresponsive (in the case of Genshin impact) or just totally freezing. I'm running a Ryzen 5 3600 non-overclocked, RX 580, 16 Gb of 3200 Mhz RAM and all my drivers are completely up to date. I've tried running a sfc /scannow and it found a corru

Hi! (Spoiler is my system specs) Quite a while ago (six months to a year), my PC began experiencing these weird video crashes (game would freeze, monitors would go grey, flicker a bit, come back to life - on very rare occasions I will have to force reboot). I'd be in a game (anything from Wildlands to something as pedestrian as FM20 or Stellaris); in the more GPU heavy games (Wildlands, GTA V, etc.) the crash would happen rather quickly, about (if not less than) 15 minutes in. In Stellaris it may happen about 8 hours in, if at all. Furmark will run for

Hello there. I will first describe what i think led to the issue and then whats going on. I moved to another real estate with my PC who worked as good as new. As i plugged him in and connected to TV power in whole apartment was gone. I freaked out and preformed a check with electrician. So hi found a problem with "amperage in whole apartment" and fixed everything that needed to be fixed. So now i tried to reconnect everything back and there is an issue: All TV HDMI ports was burned. So i connected PC to my spare monitor for testing. When trying to power PC o

First of all, good morning from Sweden:-) Im a huge fan of the new avengers game that was released not even a week ago, but apparently my computer is not . So the first 13 hours of gameplay, the game works flawless. But suddenly it crashed to my desktop - after that, i havent event been avled to get to the in-game menu before all the fans starts to go to max rpm, then My PC reboots itself and it ends up in the BIOS it the screen just goes black and i cant do anything but to restart it manually. Hello all, I have had a GTX 980 for about 5 years now. For over half that time I have been having this issue. When gaming my screen will randomly crash to the black screen that shows that its on but nothing is plugged in. CTRL ALT delete and nothing else works- the only thing I can do is hold the power button to hard reset. It is almost always random but with the Witcher 3 it would happen in certain spots over and over which would impede my progress. This did allow me to film what was happening, though. Here is a link to a minute long video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DvMXQ6c

Ok so I play a few games and I have Solidworks, with KSP it has crashed about 1-3 times in 1-2 hours and I tried accessing Geforce experience and it said that I had to restart my PC so I did and the problem continued Solidworks has yet to crash, but I don't know what the problem is. Could it be my GPU? Btw it's a GTX 660, and I have the latest driver from Nvidia.
