Ryzen 3 2200g OC 4.25GHz

2200g is stable at 3.95GHz currently stress testing 4GHz, has anyone got an OC of 4.1 or higher with 2200g?

seems fairly normal? all things considered it is just the initial zen architecture, some people reported around 3.9-4.2 at reasonable voltages

If only it was 4GHz on my R5 1600 not R3, what voltages? i havent really touched the voltage yet going to do that another day.

1.45 is "safe" on first gen ryzen cpus, I got 4 stable on my 1600 at 1.37 ish, I don't run that as imo the voltage is a little high, I tend to run stock voltage and oc as much as i can whilst remaining stable, think mine is locked at max turbo atm (3.6?)

You should be able to get 3.8-3.9 with 1.3v, voltage will be fine if you dont go over 1.35v with a R5 1600. What cooler have you got?

Theres no way i would trust anything over 1.4v for first gen, 1.37v is pushing it just my opinion though.

2700x sample 1 - 1.425v, max of 65c while gaming/daily tasks - saw degradation of around 100mhz at the same voltages within 3 months

2700x sample 2 - 1.4v, max of 60c while gaming/daily tasks - saw degradation in around 3 months and 2 weeks

2700x sample 3 - 1.385v, still around 60c while gaming/daily tasks, saw degradation in just shy of 4 months

2700x sample 4 - 1.375v, max of 58c - no degredation after just above 6 months now

I cant find the link but i just go by that for my Ryzen CPUs.

decent mate. I have 2700x @4.15Ghz at 1.35v in bios/AMD ryzen but HWmonitor showing 1.36v running idle high 20's low low 30's and under full load max temp goes to about 81c (spikes on cores) and averages after 3H adia64 extreme at 76.7c so im pretty happy.

  • 2 months later...

I got 4.1ghz stable on Ryzen 3 2200g with 1.39v, I went down to 4ghz at 1.35v just because I felt safer at that point. I'm on a stock cooler getting 80c ish under load, so I need a better cooler. This was a temporary chip until the new Ryzen 3000's come out so I feel pretty lucky for what I got.
