What sports team(s) do you support and what are the best moments you've witnessed?

3 Lions

Just wondering...

I support Middlesbrough F.C. a soccer/football team currently in the EFL Championship. I think some of the best moments I've witnessed was them getting promoted to the EPL in 2015/16, winning the 2003/04 Football League Cup and what is the cherry on the top is getting to the final of the 2005/06 UEFA Cup.

Well for Soccer (Football) I support Manchester United. For Soccer in the MLS I support Orlando City S.C.
For American Football I support Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the NFL, Orlando Apollos for AAF.
College Football (and other sports like baseball, basketball) is the Florida Gators
Baseball is the Tampa Bay Rays
Hockey is the Tampa Bay Lightning
Basketball for the NBA is the Memphis Grizzlies

That's about it. Those are the teams and sports I watch

Can't really think of a specific best moment. Seeing the gators play in March Madness was fun, watching Tim Tebow play in his final college year and in the pro's was fun. Being at any lightning game is always amazing. Sitting in the box seats at a Rays game was a cool experience too

Celtic.

Some of the finest moments - beating Barcelona in the Champions League under Neil Lennon, getting to the UEFA cup final under Martin O'Neill (only to lose out to Jose Mourinho's all-conquering Porto side by the narrowest of margins), stopping Rangers winning 10IAR in the '90s, the double treble (will this season make it a treble treble?).

And (not that I am old enough to have actually seen it personally, but ) - the European Cup win in 1967. First British team to win the competition and it was achieved with a team of all local boys.

Few hours ago I took the Browns to the Super Bowl.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I think you just gave all the wannabe techs here an aneurysm by making them think about sports. ?

Got a computer problem? Update the BIOS! ?

Any Seattle team I am a fan of. Watched a lot of the Sonics when I was young.

The whole Mariners 2001 season was incredible. Then the playoffs were depressing. Felix's perfecto, Kuma and Paxtons no hitters were insane to watch.

Seahawks, I have a lot of good memories. 2005 NFCCG even though that game was over from the start, Tony Romo botched snap, beastquake, 2013 NFCCG + SB48, last 4 minutes + OT of the 2014 NFCCG.

5800X3D / ASUS X570 Dark Hero / 32GB 3600mhz / EVGA RTX 3090ti FTW3 Ultra / Dell S3422DWG / Logitech G815 / Logitech G502 / Sennheiser HD 599

2021 Razer Blade 14 3070 / S23 Ultra

The one athlete who impressed me the most was one I read about for the All Blacks named Wayne Shelford.  I can't explain what happened to him here as it is kinda nsfw.  XD

Yep. IMO kinda NSFW is an understatement. Probably best not to talk about it.
