GTX 1060 troubleshooting

Thieved

So I turned my system on today to a motherboard giving off one long beep and 3 short beeps meaning a gpu malfunction. It wasn’t giving video just a black screen. After reseating it a few times it worked once but then after restarting it stopped working again. I tried booting using the intergreted graphics, that worked and then I reinstalled the drivers onto the graphics card. After all this it worked but then failed again. However, now it will work 100% of the time but the motherboard still beeps as if something is wrong but there is nothing wrong now. My specs are

ASUS prime h310m-a

i7 8700

16gb Corsair vengeance

gtx 1060 3gb

If the same error occurs with another GPU, RMA the motherboard.
