I have a ps4 and a Fujitsu LCD display 1600x900 and i have HDMI to VGA adapter ... it works for computer but not for ps4

Im trying to connect my ps4 to my Fujitsu computer monitor Via a HDMI toVGA cable ... it works when i try my laptop but not the ps4 ... it says out of range ... i tried running ps4 in safe mode and changing resolutions ... can anyone help ...

As far as I am concerned the PS4 only supports Digital Video, so you gonna need an active adapter which are much harder and expensive to find.

 

Your laptop iGPU/GPU probably supports both Digital and Analog video reason why cheap pass-through adapters work.
