for 1080P which card to buy RTx 2080 or RTx 2070?

helo today i will  buy  new  card  for  1080P and i dont  know  which to  buy  RTX  2080 or  RTX  2070? if  i will  buy  RTx  2080  for  1080P will i get  more  power and more  fps  against  RTX  2070?

 

also i  was  thinking to  buy RTx 2060  but it  has  only  6VRam

 

so  tell me  what to do?

Depends what FPS you want to achieve.  Buy the card that performs where you want.

most people say that rtx  2080 is not  for  1080P

2060 is enough for 1080p, you won't hit vram limits easily on 1080p

If you have high refresh rate monitor and good CPU, its more sense to go with 2080.

you are still on this op? really? i helped you with this a month ago, and told you to just go with the 2070. you could even go as low as the 2060. if you wanted future proof, i said the 2080.

some people are  telling me It's honestly a waste to get anything more powerful than a 2060 for 1080p

The 2060 is more than enough for 1080p but if you feel like you want to push for 144hz then a 2070 might be a more sound idea. A 2080 is a waste of money as you’ll be cpu-limited by that point.

Uhm, there are 240Hz monitors out there.  Why would you buy a card that doesn't give you the super max advantage of drawing the screen kill BEFORE you even click the mouse to fire?

Nothing stops you from having a RTX 2080 for 1920x1080p it's just a lot of more power than you need to run 1920x1080p, only makes sense if you really need ultra-max settings across the board with a 144hz display.

 

But do remember high refresh rate is also CPU depended, so you can't cheap up on one to spend on the other, builds ought to be balanced.

Do what you want. If you can afford 2080 and want it, then get it. If you don't need max settings (which are overrated), then go for a 2070 and save money for something else

2070 for high FPS, 2080 for higher.

Also, keep in mind that since you are planning for pretty much whole rig upgrade, chances are you will need to upgrade your PSU too

I would go with 2060/1070Ti for 1080p/60 at max settings. 4770k will bottleneck a 2080 and wont be able to deliver smooth high fps gaming.
