gcam on dslr

gcam is great... everyone knows that.  BUT, why if you installed gcam ON A DSLR??? camera's like the galaxy nx run android and can therefore run gcam? how amazing will the quality be then???

Smartphones can't replace DSLRs in terms of image quality or for professional photography.

 

But anyway, it is not really that simple. What makes a DSLR good or not has a lot to do with the processing that is tied into the camera sensor.

The answer is still no. Cameras have their software tailored to them for a reason.

Again, cameras tend to have their software tailored to them, so gcam's processing wouldn't benefit them. Even then, having hardware powerful enough to run Android on top of whatever else the camera has to do is an idiotic expense for a proper DSLR.
