What does the community think about the surface pro go?

I have seen reviews and it seems really good! But that could be influenced by companies... I want to code on the go      very light video editing (only on certain circumstances) photo editing drawing and school work! (Mostly coding and school work though) It is for a cheap price and i need something very light 

 

Also another question do I have to purchase the keyboard separately? I know the pen I will have to

 

Please tell me what you think and tell me any other options in that price range if you believe to do so! Thanks!

I had a SP3 and I would say that as a laptop it offered a pretty mediocre experience due to the small and terrible trackpad (which has gotten better over the years, but still not fantastic -- although for the price it's comparable to what a competing laptop might offer), and pretty awful keyboard (which has gotten significantly better over the years). It was also not good for use on your lap in laptop mode due to the nature of the stand, and touchscreen Windows is still finicky at best. However, when it came to using the pen, it was fantastic for writing/drawing. 

 

And yes, both the pen and keyboard are sold separately.

Well it'll be mostly stood up using the stand... only time it'll be in my lap is when someone is driving and I need to finish something or anywhere without a table haha

Pretty decent budget device actually, but CPU performance is poor, keyboard cover+pen are expensive, display is small IMO and typical Microsoft anti consumer behaviour (no upgradability etc)
