What connector is this and can I get an adapter?

Liminal Doughnut

I have a functional display from an old Toshiba laptop that was broken for other reasons. I want to know if there is any possibility of finding an adapter to use the display with my PC (I have Displayport, HDMI, and DVI available). The first picture is the port on the display itself, the next two are the end of the cable that connected to the display, and the last one is the end of the cable that connected to the laptop's motherboard. Since there is only one cable i would assume that it carries power as well as a display connection so I would need a power adapter as well. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Likely not worth the hassle. Most laptop displays use proprietary connections. You can get a used 1080p display for like $50 on your local listings. And it'll come with a stand, power cable, and maybe even a display cable.

You need more than just a cable, you need a complete controller. Luckily, those cost ~$25 on eBay or Aliexpress or similar. There's most likely a sticker on your LCD-panel somewhere that says what model it is: go to eBay, search for "insertyourmodelhere controller board" and you'll find plenty. You need to buy one that's specifically for your panel, though; you can't just randomly buy one and expect it to work.

I have a couple such myself, here's an example:

I couldn't find a controller for my specific model on eBay or Aliexpress- there were a lot for similar models but none for my exact one. Do you know if there are any other placed that might have them?

No, I don't. You could find a similar one, then contact the seller and ask if they also have one for your model. If not, then I don't know where to get one.
