while gaming my temps on my i5 8400 hit around 78c is that fine or?

Thats not a worrisome temp, but a better cooler will bring the temps down

Well below the thermal limits of the 8400, although it would be preferable if you could keep it below 70C, but 78C is perfectly fine.

im not using the stock 1 im using the cooler master mag610p however i only 1 fan on it because my ram its the fan on the other side
