The current situation is even worse than those two, giving ppl the false impression that their data is safe from prying eyes. But in reality it isnt and anyone can view it because of the back doors/held back security holes.

That's life.  Sometimes it isn't that bad and other times it might be.  Whether we like it or not we live in a global community, and like all communities it can only be as good as the worst people allow it to be.

Hopefully they start fighting for better security, transparency of government officials, and encryption to ensure this doesn't happen again...
