Trying to get the best for my money

Hey guys again I have a PNY 1070 TI and I want to start building a pc I am thinking going the amd ryzen way what do you guys suggest as for parts

budget? what are you trying to do with this pc?

For gaming only get a 4 core ryzen cpu.

Based on the last thread, you're thinking of a 2700x, right? It really depends on what games you're playing while streaming, and what your budget is.

Typo? No 4 core Ryzens unless you're considering the 2400G/2200G, which shouldn't even be considered since he has a 1070 TI.

 

 

 

OP,

You can't go wrong with any Ryzen chips as long as you get a decent b450/x470 motherboard. Ryzen offers the best price/performance.

No typo. 4 cores 8 threads is just enough for most games.

It is basically the same as an intel i7 pre Ryzen, all have only 4 cores.

It will "loose" a fraction of framerates compared to 2700x not for the core count but for the lower ghz.
