Why did you choose such a expensive hard drive? Get a caviar blue/green imo. I also believe you are paying way too much for that motherboard.

$80 is not expensive....

I'd change the board to something not so expensive because I don't think you're doing liquid nitrogen overclocking on your cpu and you can use those extra few hundred dollars and get say a 780 ti

.

Any particular reason why you chose that Mobo? I'm assuming you're going to overclock your system, but you don't realy need that mobo for that.

If you realy want a ROG board, take a look at the Maximus Hero.

Other than that.. seems solid. :)

More price per performance like this in my opinion http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2AulU

Windows 7 Ultimate is unnecessary and the Kraken already comes with decent thermal paste. You could also drop the PSU to a 650W but if you SLI in the future, 750W should be good.

With the money saved in the build I made, you could get a 780Ti.

The mobo was a choice for the sound and internet, I also just fell in love with the armor. If I swap the mobo for what Langdon suggested what would I be losing in the sound? Or would the 363d amp take care of that? I'm going to be gaming so I don't need über expensive sound. Thanks for the tips though fellas.

Instead of a 144Hz display, I'm suggesting a 2560x1440 27" PLS panel.
