Got tired of screwing around with PC cases and bolted my PC to the side of my desk

RogueLizard

That piece of glass under the monitor makes me extremely nervous.

But love the ghetto-esque appearance of this!

It's 6mm tempered glass, I've struck it with a steel hammer and it didn't break. It's bolted directly to the desk with wood screws. There's one on each side and I've stood on both of them without any cracking sounds. A 7lb 1440p monitor isn't going to stress it.

It's out of the way of literally everything, there is no detriment to its location.

I'm more worried about it falling, now on top of the PC (which is now less of a worry, since you said it is bolted down).

People are often super paranoid about glass side panels as first time builders, with breaking it and all.. But that is certainly not something that would happen with those panels :D

Looks great, lack of dust filters can be a bummer but I'm sure you've accounted for that and readied your air compressor

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

6mm boron tempered is no joke. It's bullet resistant and can slow a 9mm round to the point of non-lethality

you mean the fans that are already actively blowing any settling dust off of the system and the big ass glass pane directly above the system to catch settling dust?

When was the last time you saw your optometrist? Or is that an oxymoron?

Science Studio also did a great video to show the strength of tempered glass (case window):

The idea of you or someone trying to fire a gun at your PC from above is an amusing thought to me.

Anyway, nice work. Looks interesting and if it works then it works.
