rainbow six seige problem with choppyness

I play rainbow six seige a lot and experience some painful choppyness where my game seems not smooth and sort of laggy, although my frames consist of 100+ and I am using  144hz monitor, any solutions?

gpu: msi armoured rx 580

It could be your internet connection then. Also when I mean frame dips I don't mean dipping to low fps but rather large fluctuations like from 200 down to 110 or something of the sort.

Does the game do frame dips when you are attacking, like you enter the objective building or when you are defending?

other games are fine and my ping is always 20-60

no, just always choppy

high, medium, low, i've changed them a ton, turning off v-sync helps a bit

Turn down video settings and try again. Make sure you have latest graphics card drivers downloaded and installed.

fixed it when i set v-sync on amd settings to 'always off' or 'off unless application specifies'
