cpu and mobo upgrade windows 10 issue

clutchmaster

ok my mom had a fm2 mobo that had the usb controller die on her so since i had a better am3 cpu laying around i got her a am3 motherboard got it in today but it into her rig everything hardware wise works but for some reason the board will not see my moms windows 10 install it just gives me the good old "please select proper boot device or insert boot media" and the board came with the latest BIOS asrock says it supports windows 10

i dont feel like dealing with pulling all of my moms data just to reinstall windows id rather keep the current partition any idea's??? the hard drive is less then 6 months old and is sata 3.0 on a sata 2.0 controller it is detected in the BIOS

Did you configure the boot order or boot mode (UEFI or Legacy) correctly?

It should be the same as the previous computer, otherwise it won't boot.
