what are these cables for?

You can use all the connectors, if it fits, it sits, and it should work.

The 6-pin goes into the PSU.

The other ones are SATA power connectors, mainly used for HDD's

so im not sure what the first one is but the second is sata which is for hard drives they usally say what type of cable it is on the black plastics

If the HDD uses sata, yes then it can be used for that.

As others said, the 3x2 pin (6 pin plug) is just what Corsair uses on many of their PSU's, the other end is SATA power typically used by hard drives, (not M.2) SSD's and optical drives (DVD, Blu ray players). Sometimes other peripherals like fan hubs or RGB lighting controllers use it too.

yes hdd's and ssd's and potentially some internal peripherals or accessories. 

Current build: Ryzen 7 1700x, asus prime x370-pro, 16gb gskill trident z rgb, asus rog strix gtx 1070 ti, corsair rm650x, nzxt s340 elite, samsung 840 pro 256gb, 1.5tb hdd.
