GTX 1060 6GB for dual monitors

TheSaucyBadger

I currently have a 1050 ti and mostly play destiny 2 and overwatch, been thinking of getting the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1060 6GB and running a dual monitor setup. Would the 1060 be a good choice and would the upgrade be worth it?

10 year old integrated graphics can run dual 1080p. Yes, 1060 6GB will be fine

Do you mean gaming by stretching the game over both monitors? In that case, the 1060 might not be able to push that many pixels (essentially twice the pixel count of just one monitor).

If you just mean gaming on one monitor and having other apps open on the other monitor, then yes, it would work fine.

The 1060 6GB is 85% faster than the 1050Ti, so yes it would be a worthwhile upgrade. 1060 6GB is like a 980, and the 1050ti is like a 960.
