Can some one recommend a good 850W Good PSU?

Like the title says can someone recommend a quiet, efficient and overall good Gold 850w PSU? It doesn’t matter if it’s fully modular or semi. Budget is $70-150.

What are you powering? usually people go for far more wattage than their computers really need.

 

Any ways going off the assumption you're from US and does need one I believe for the price the Corsair RM850x is a clear winner:

EVGA Supernova 850, Corsair RM850x etc. Under this forum there should be a pinned thread showing the PSU tiers. Look at tier 1 and fine a Power supply from tier one and check if it has an 850W variant. Usually it does

Do keep in mind that the tier list does not take into account noise, multi rail and pricing. All of which should be taken into account when actually purchasing a PSU.

For a RTX 2080 how much would you recommend? I just want to make sure I am future proofing my PC and have enough room for upgrading,

For a single gpu system 650w is almost always enough

gq's are meh, g2 is fine, g3 has some problems. here you can read more about the g3

I cannot hear mine.  Nor any of the 3 that EVGA sent me during the RMA process.

 

I have actually never heard a PSU fan over the other fans in my builds.  What are you doing with yours?

Noise wise I am fine with my TXM which is also louder than the RMx, I don't mind it but being completely accurate on information I know the RMx is more silent even if to a redundant amount.

 

100% silent PC is still something some people are into so know the de facto quietes part have it's use
