Posted November 29, 2018 I am simply looking for the cpu cooler that will keep my cpu, a Ryzen 7 2700, the coolest. It can be either an aio or air cooler and I just need it to be under $100. Aesthetics and noise level are important to me, but not nearly as much as raw performance.
 Posted November 29, 2018 I'll say the nh-d15 and dark rock pro 4 are great choises. But on a cheaper side you can also get a Artic freezer 33 esports, depending on what version you get it's between 35 and 50 bucks
 Posted November 29, 2018 It's hands down the NH-D15. That thing is monstrous, I don't think anyone makes a bigger tower cooler. I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B Primary PC: i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me. I was looking at CoolerMasters LC120E and ML120L but I dont see much difference.

Posted November 29, 2018 120mm AIO's aren't really worth it. I used to have an H80i v2 and I switched back to my H212 EVO. The H80i performed just a little better, was way louder and made my case so crammed that the GPU temps rose by 5C. Get some decent modern air cooler like an Arctic Freezer 33 esports or A Dark rock 4.
 Posted November 29, 2018 if your going to go with a AIO , get a 280mm rad or 360mm rad one. 240 and below are not worth it. Posted November 29, 2018 The wraith cooler that your cpu got is already good. With after market heatsink it would only be better like 3-5c at best!
