Personaly i would go with the samsung if i had to choose. Its VA, and QD , means better image, though you may suffer from ghosting if its got slow pixel response. You'd have to find a review that tests for it.

 

Out of the 3 evils of LCD Tech i consider VA the lesser.

 

VA over IPS over TN.
