Using Premiere Pro cc 2018 on SSD

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

Id put premiere on the hdd, it likes to take a while to load and isn't that big.

Your not gonna hurt the lifespan of the ssd this way. Don't worry about ssd writes, its very unlikely to ever be a issue.

If you want editing to be faster edit of a ssd, the location of the program won't make a big difference, but the program will open much faster.

I have got Premiere pro cc 2018 installed on a 64gb ssd. I dont think I recall having the explicit option of picking which directory to install it in. All my footage will be on internall HDDs. So is it wise to get to editing with pre pro cc on the SSD?

I am more concerned about SSD lifespan than just pure editing speeds.
