I have the same chair and I don't have that problem.

Did you adjust the dial on the right side of the back rest?

That moves the lumbar support. Maybe it's simply adjusted wrong?

How are Maxinomic chairs I've been tempted for a while But don't know if I can justify spending that much on a chair.

Did you have the office comfort one? Or the pro-gaming? Pro-gaming does not have this problem.

Also, this is the bottom cushion or the chair not the back.

I find out that the support bar at the bottom is the reason make me feel hurt. The bottom cushion is fail to prevent me feeling that suport bar. Is any of you guys have this issue?

Where did you purchase your chair? And what's your weight?

Don't buy a racing seat. They're a gimmick. Get an ergonomic office chair. Your sitting at a desk, not going around the track. Buy the tool that matches the job.
