You should be thankful your parents liked children enough to have and keep you. It's fine to not like children and to not want them (I applaud the people who have the courage to not have children despite the pressure from society and parents to have them) but it's not acceptable to put down those who don't share your views about children.

 

I thought the two videos of Linus building computers with his children were adorable, especially the one with his daughter. I was amazed at how well behaved and polite they were (I loved how his daughter would politely say, "No thank you" instead of sullenly saying, or even shouting, no. I was also amazed at how long their attention span was compared to most 2x4s (Charles Shultz's term for children two to Four years old, the so called terror years before they become teens). Linus' patience with them was also wonderful.

There may be a language barrier here. I interpreted your post as putting down people who do like them. My reply said that it was alright not to like children but it was not alright to put down people who do like them. If I misinterpreted you, I apologize. Otherwise, my comments stand.
